About Us

Keighley Care Company was founded by care professionals who understand the realities of frontline care. Built on experience, training and a commitment to quality, our organisation has grown from a shared vision between two care assistants into a trusted provider delivering person-centred support across the community.

Our Story

KEIGHLEY CARE COMPANY LTD was founded by Tanvir Kapadi and Saqib Iqbal.

As young care assistants working for Allied Healthcare, once one of the largest home care providers in England, we spent years learning our profession from the ground up. While working together, we developed a passion for delivering high-quality care and a vision of creating a service built around compassion, professionalism and genuine relationships.

"I’m going to open my own one day."

It was a simple statement made as a young care worker, but it became the foundation of what would eventually become Keighley Care Company.

Alongside his work in care, Saqib also worked as a teaching assistant within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. Together, we spent over a decade building our knowledge, experience and understanding of care before progressing into management positions and ultimately establishing our own organisation.

Although our responsibilities now include leadership and management, we remain passionate about frontline care and still enjoy supporting service users directly whenever the opportunity arises.

Built on Experience

Throughout our careers we have been fortunate to learn from and work alongside some exceptional professionals who helped shape our approach to care.

Our first trainer and coordinator, Diane, brought over 20 years of experience across multiple care settings before progressing to become a Registered Manager for nearly a decade.

We were also fortunate to work alongside experienced leaders such as Mel, who recognised and encouraged excellence within Continuing Healthcare services and brought over 38 years of experience to the sector.

The lessons, support and mentorship received from these professionals continue to influence our values and standards today.

Training and Development

At Keighley Care Company, we believe that excellent care begins with excellent training.

To ensure our staff are confident, competent and supported, we have developed strong partnerships with experienced professionals across the local area. This includes access to specialist pharmaceutical guidance through our in-house qualified pharmacist and dedicated training delivered by qualified teaching professionals.

Our training department is led by experienced educators who understand both the practical and theoretical aspects of care, ensuring our staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to deliver exceptional support.

Our commitment to learning and development helps us maintain consistent standards and continuously improve the quality of care we provide.

Growing Our Own Leaders

One of our proudest achievements is seeing members of our team progress through the organisation.

Several members of our management team began their journey as care assistants with Keighley Care Company before gaining qualifications, developing their skills and progressing into leadership roles. Their success reflects our commitment to supporting career development and investing in people.

Today, our senior management team offers a combined experience of more than 125 years within health and social care.

We believe our staff do not simply work for us; they work with us as part of a shared mission to provide outstanding care and support to every service user.

Our Commitment

Five years into our journey, Keighley Care Company continues to grow stronger. Achieving a CQC Good rating during our first inspection was a significant milestone and a reflection of the dedication shown by our entire team.

However, we are not content to stand still.
